When considering value, more foundries consider our Ram-Jolt squeeze machines as the standard for their profitable jobbing and production requirements. This combination will produce a harder, more consistent mold. Initial jolting results in uniform mold quality as it evenly distributes the sand in the flask, providing the best condition for squeezing. Upload File 5mb Limit. This site uses cookies.

The table is raised to a short distance and then dropped down under the influence of gravity against a solid bed plate. The action of raising and dropping lowering is called 'Jolting'. The number of 'jolts' may vary depending on the size and hardness of the mould required.

Usually, less than 20 jolts are sufficient for a good moulding. One piston called 'Jolt piston' raises and drops the table repeatedly for a predetermined number of times, while the other piston called 'squeeze piston' pushes the table upward to squeeze the sand in the flask against the squeeze plate.

In operation, sand is filled in the drag box and jolted repeatedly by operating the jolt piston. By the end of this operation, the sand in the mould box is uniformly packed. The mould is finished and made ready for pouring. Figure shows a sand slinger. Sand slinger consists of a rigid base, sand bin, bucket elevator, belt conveyor, ramming head sand impeller and a swinging arm.

Simultaneous Jolt Squeeze Molding Machines

Atmosphere filled with smoke ; and enclosure where workers breath noxious fumes. Note: For small orders as well as production of large sized castings, mechanisation is uneconomical and unpractical. On other hand complete mechanisation is profitable for mass production. Automobile parts, electric motors, sewing machine. Elimination of time consuming manual operations such as mixing and preparing sands, preparing moulds and handling various foundry materials. Advantage: it transports material which are too hot for belt conveyor.

Jolt squeeze moulding machine for casting

The Jolt Squeeze Moulding Machine is suitable for batch production of single sided pattern plate and single flask moulding of small castings, can make cope flask and drag flask. The Jolt Squeeze Mouldin. The Jolt Squeeze Moulding Machine own simple air control system, easy operation, flexible use and convenient repair and maintenance. The worktable fall and collide with floating shock-iron,and the sand was tighted slightly, and then to compaction, get the top and bottom of sand mould are tight. The Jolt Squeeze Molding Machine made of sand mold are good quality, the basic requirement is also lower.
